Lingzhi Fairy

In the distant immortal realm, Lingzhi was originally a fairy mushroom growing on the banks of the Qionglou Jade Palace, crystal clear, like nature. The legend of its descent into the mortal world originated from an accidental feast of the Queen Mother. The Queen Mother lightly opened her vermilion lips, intending to taste the elixir of immortality. Unexpectedly, one pill was too hard to swallow, so she lightly spat it out and landed on the immortal mushroom. Seizing this opportunity, the fairy mushroom absorbed the spirit of the elixir, transformed into a fiery red, agate like Lingzhi fairy grass, shining brightly.

Although Lingzhi fairy grass enjoys leisure in the fairyland, it often overlooks the suffering of the human world and has compassion in its heart. She yearns to use her own strength to solve the difficulties of all people in the world. So, she swayed gently, surrounded by red light, and instantly transformed into a gentle and charming fairy named “Lingzhi”. The Queen Mother, seeing her beautiful appearance and kind heart, gave her the name “Lingzi Xian” and ordered her to serve her left and right. What lingzhi holds in her heart is always the distant fireworks of the human world.

One day, Lingzhi Fairy was distracted while on duty due to her concern for the mortal world, and was noticed by the Queen Mother. The Queen Mother was furious and scolded him for forgetting his roots, and even demoted him to the remote mountains as a punishment. Lingzhi Fairy has no complaints or regrets, lightly drifting to the mortal world, determined to use her medical skills to help the world.

She found the Land God, inquired about the suffering of the people, and learned that illness is a major problem for the people. So, the Lingzhi Fairy went to the Hundred Medicines Palace to obtain a basket full of immortal herbs and spiritual medicines. She transformed into a wandering doctor and traveled around the world, using her medical skills to save the people. His medical skills were highly advanced, and he was able to cure illnesses with his medicine. He quickly became famous throughout the world and became a living bodhisattva in the mouths of the people.

However, this incident ultimately alarmed the Heavenly Court. Upon learning of this, the Queen Mother was furious and dispatched the Golden Armor Divine Generals to capture the Lingzhi Fairy. The fairy refused to return to the Heavenly Palace and confronted the Queen Mother on the clouds. The Queen Mother was furious and first struck the giant stones. In a moment of desperation, Lingzhi Fairy transformed a golden toothpick into golden light and shattered the giant stones. Subsequently, the Queen Mother sent the waters of Tianhe to submerge the fairy. The Lingzhi Fairy uses silver ear as a tool to scoop water and alleviate floods, ensuring peace in the area.

Seeing that the plan was unsuccessful, the Queen Mother became even more furious and performed the technique of five thunder strikes, vowing to put the Lingzhi Fairy to death. The fairy knew that fate was hard to disobey, so she scattered the herbs in the basket into the mountains, rivers, and fields. The golden tooth stick was buried deep underground, and the silver ear was hidden in the forest, waiting for the future. And I, on the other hand, am willing to sacrifice myself, turning into scattered starlight and scattering throughout the world.

Although the physical body of Lingzhi Fairy has passed away, her spirit has transformed into countless Lingzhi mushrooms, among which the most precious one is called “Resurrection Grass”, which can save lives and bring the dead back to life. And gold toothpicks and silver ear picks have also taken root and sprouted in the human world, becoming precious ingredients that can be used as medicine and edible. From then on, the legend of Lingzhi Fairy spread in the human world and became a symbol of love and sacrifice, courage and wisdom.
