Pharmacological effects of ginger

It can be decocted alone or taken with brown sugar and scallion. This product is mainly used as an auxiliary product, in conjunction with Xin Wen Jie surface medicine such as Guizhi and Qianghuo, to enhance the sweating and surface resolving power.

Spleen and stomach cold syndrome:

This product has the effects of Xin San Wen Tong, which can warm the middle and dispel cold. It can relieve cold and pain in the epigastric region, reduce appetite, and induce vomiting in patients with cold invasion of the middle burner or spleen and stomach deficiency cold. It is recommended to use it together with high ginger and pepper as an internal medicine. If there is a deficiency of spleen and stomach qi, it is advisable to use it together with spleen and qi tonifying drugs such as ginseng and Atractylodes macrocephala.

Stomach cold vomiting:

This product is Xin San Wen Tong, which can warm the stomach and dispel cold, harmonize the middle and lower the reverse. It has good antiemetic effects and is known as the “holy medicine of the vomiting family”. It can be used in combination with various symptoms to treat various types of vomiting. If the patient vomits due to phlegm, it is often combined with Banxia, namely Xiaobanxia Decoction; If the stomach is hot and vomiting occurs, it can be accompanied by stomach clearing and antiemetic drugs such as Huanglian, Zhuru, and loquat leaves. It can be used for cough caused by lung cold, regardless of whether there is external wind cold or excessive phlegm. For the treatment of wind cold induced cough, phlegm accumulation, and chills and headaches, it is recommended to use it together with ephedra and almonds, such as San Ao Tang. For those without external pathogenic factors but with excessive phlegm, they are often used together with medicines such as tangerine peel and Pinellia ternata, such as Er Chen Tang.
